Jordan Deer

"The Centre of Development has opened up lots of pathways for me to explore for my career. I have gained my qualifications for a career in sport as well as being given the opportunities to play both football and futsal to a high standard. I would recommend the Centre of Development to anyone who wants to gain qualifications and play sport at the same time".

Jordan joined the Centre of Development straight from school and has since gone on to play internationally for England’s under 19 futsal team and for semi-professional team Brymbo FC in the Welsh National League.

Mamudo Dabo

"Coming to the Centre of Development was definitely the best choice I could have made. It changed my life and allowed me to take the opportunities to do what I want with my life and career".

Mamudo came to the Centre of Development in the hope of playing football to a high standard whilst also gaining his education. He completed his BTEC level two and three and is now on the second year of his HND course. Through the Centre of Development, he has played for Evo-Stik Premier side Skelmersdale and is now playing for Welsh team Flint Town United.

Jacques Welch

"I played for the Centre of Development in the North West Youth Alliance league. Getting to train with the first team was unbelievable and earning my first professional contract on top of that. I can’t thank them enough".

Jacques is a prime example of what a student can achieve. Released from Bolton Wanderers after breaking his leg, Jacques joined TRFC Centre of Development, gained his BTEC qualifications and excelled on the pitch too, earning a first team professional contract and is now on loan at Flint Town United.
