Welcome to the Official website of Tranmere Rovers Sports College and Centre of Development.

Tranmere Rovers Sports College offers a unique opportunity like no other in the Wirral area, giving you the facilities to study and play football at the home of a professional football team.

At our Centre of Development you will train and play football on a full-time basis, led by our UEFA qualified coaches.

Centre of Development – Kole Hall

Striker Kole Hall has been in fine form for our U23’s and U21’s this season.  His form has led to him being given a chance at a higher level and he managed to score on his reserve team debut away at Morecambe.

He is now training with the Tranmere Rovers first team in the hope of gaining a professional contract at the club.

College Case Studies – Paul Champman and Ben Mewis – Matchday Roles

Here at the Tranmere Rovers Sports College, students get the opportunity to gain work experience in matchday roles.

Current BTEC Level 3 students Paul Chapman and Ben Mewis both have a matchday role which sees them sell equaliser tickets.

College Case Studies – Daniel Skillen – Coaching

Here at the Tranmere Rovers Sports College, we have a number of different opportunities that our students can go down for employment within coaching, nutrition, analysis etc.

Dan Skillen is in his third year of college and is currently studying the HNC course at the college, having already completed his BTEC level 3 with us.  He has combined his studies with learning all about football coaching and now coaches our U16 team in the Junior Premier League.

This course is designed to introduce learners to the world of sport and leisure. The BTEC Level 1 course is also suitable for anyone who has not yet achieved any formal qualifications.

This BTEC Level 2 course is designed to introduce learners to the world of sport and leisure and leads to further study or employment within the football and leisure industry.

This stimulating and challenging vocational course is for students who intend to study for a degree or follow a career in the Sport and Active Leisure Industry.
